This tour wasn’t promoting an album, this tour was meant simply to tell you the story of Cat Stevens’ life through the songs that we all love. Filmed in London, “A Cat’s Attic” celebrates the illustrious career of one of the most important artists in history. His first success came with the two chart hits “I Love My Dog” and “Matthew & Son”. During a hospitalization the following year, Stevens began a process of inner reflection and meditation, gaining a new outlook on life, transforming and writing 40 new songs, reviewing different aspects of his personal life and started exploring a new spiritual path. His next album Tea for the Tillerman, established him as one of the leading singer-songwriters of his generation, with songs such as “Wild World,” “Where do the Children Play?”, and “Hard Headed Women”. Now, he’s bringing all of these songs to a beautiful backdrop, inside a quaint wooden attic reminiscent of his parents’ home in London’s West End where he grew up. He’ll take the stage, complete with a vintage record player and a poster of himself from his early years, to perform all of his fan’s beloved favorites to a cozy audience.
