Docs That Rock: The Doobie Brothers: Let The Music Play | Premieres October 17th

From biker band to one of the best rock groups in the world, follow the story of The Doobie Brothers

Let The Music Play is the story of The Doobie Brothers from their beginnings as a biker band in California in 1970, through their breakthrough with Listen To The Music in 1972. This documentary covers their sustained success and line-up changes in the mid-seventies, as well as their change of musical direction with the arrival of Michael McDonald in 1976. Using contributions from all surviving band members, their manager, Bruce Cohn, and long term producer, Ted Templeman, you’ll hear the full story of the band’s highs and lows through four decades of musical evolution. Don’t miss it and make sure to set your DVR for this Tuesday, October 17th at 10/9c!

BONUS! Check out a very special interview with The Doobie Brothers and Dan Rather BEFORE the documentary this Tuesday, October 17th at 9/8c!
