(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction, released in June of 1965, was written by English rockers Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. This was the first song by the Rolling Stones that went no. 1 in the US. The song was also a part of the American version of the Rolling Stones’ fourth studio album, Out of Our Heads. Fun fact, this song was only played on pirate radio stations (radio stations without proper licensing) in the UK due its suggestive content. The song is centered around sexual frustration and alienation or as Mick Jagger put it, “captures the spirit of the times.”
Havana Moon is a historic, once in a lifetime, and not to mention free concert by The Rolling Stones in Havana, Cuba in 2016. This epic, record-breaking concert features the hits such as “Jumpin’ Jack Flash”, “It’s Only Rock ‘n Roll”, “Gimme Shelter”, “Brown Sugar”, and “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction”, which you can watch above. You can relive this unforgettable concert this Sunday, July 14th at 10/9c on AXS TV!
