For our series premiere, Shaffer will be sitting down with one of the best guitarists in classic rock, Joe Walsh. In this sneak peek, Walsh will reveal how Glenn Frey heard him warming up for a show with a unique coordination exercise and busted into his dressing room exclaiming, “WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?” The answer? It’s an Eagles song! Learn more on the series premiere of Paul Shaffer Plus One this Sunday at 8/7c on AXS TV!

On the series premiere of Brian Johnson’s A Life on the Road, Brian meets up with The Police’s frontman, Sting! We head to New York to visit what’s left of the CBGB club that The Police first played at when they came to the USA. Sting and Brian reflect on The Police’s humble beginnings, Sting’s rise to fame, and The Police’s break up. We may even get to hear about Sting’s interesting pre-show rituals! Watch the sneak peek above to hear what it was like to be a starving artist before The Police made it big. Don’t miss the series premiere this Sunday, September 15th at 9/8c.
This tour wasn’t promoting an album, this tour was meant simply to tell you the story of Cat Stevens’ life through the songs that we all love. Filmed in London, “A Cat’s Attic” celebrates the illustrious career of one of the most important artists in history. His first success came with the two chart hits “I Love My Dog” and “Matthew & Son”. During a hospitalization the following year, Stevens began a process of inner reflection and meditation, gaining a new outlook on life, transforming and writing 40 new songs, reviewing different aspects of his personal life and started exploring a new spiritual path. His next album Tea for the Tillerman, established him as one of the leading singer-songwriters of his generation, with songs such as “Wild World,” “Where do the Children Play?”, and “Hard Headed Women”. Now, he’s bringing all of these songs to a beautiful backdrop, inside a quaint wooden attic reminiscent of his parents’ home in London’s West End where he grew up. He’ll take the stage, complete with a vintage record player and a poster of himself from his early years, to perform all of his fan’s beloved favorites to a cozy audience. Don’t miss this intimate concert Sunday at 10/9c only on AXS TV!
