"The Who: Quadrophenia Live in London" + Vintage Trouble Concert Premieres, Sunday June 8
Jun 8th, 2014
This summer we're unleashing a fully-loaded lineup of once-in-a-lifetime concerts, like...
THE WHO: QUADROPHENIA LIVE IN LONDON on June 8!
Celebrating 30 years of their conceptual masterpiece,
The Who brought “Quadrophenia” to the stage by performing the album from beginning to end at packed venues across the globe. At the final stop of the
“Quadrophenia and More Tour” at Wembley Arena, film crews captured the magic as
Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend unleashed the performance of a lifetime.
QUADROPHENIA: LIVE IN LONDON, at 8 ET|5 PT and captures
The Who in peak form, featuring blistering performances of
“The Real Me,” “The Punk And The Godfather,” “Doctor Jimmy,” and a powerful performance of
“Love Reign O’er Me.” With archival footage and today’s advanced technology in video and sound,
The Who reunites with band mates John Entwistle for “5:15,” and Keith Moon for “Bell Boy.” In addition, the band tear through classic tracks such as
“Pinball Wizard,” “Who Are You,” “You Better You Bet,” “Baba O’Riley,” and
“Won’t Get Fooled Again” with the intensity and power only
The Who can conjure.
Opening for Sunday's headliner is American blues-rockers
Vintage Trouble at 7:15 ET|4:15 PT with “Nashville: A Night In The Life.” This concert film provides an
all-access pass to Vintage Trouble as they open for The Who in front of a sold-out arena crowd before walking just across the street to the honky-tonk Tootsie’s for a
more intimate set. If you dig the L.A.-based bands retro sound, pick up their new acoustic EP this summer or check them out on tour! Find more info
