This Tuesday, Rock Legends is featuring Foreigner, an English-American rock band that formed in New York City in 1976 by Mick Jones, Ian McDonald along with American vocalist Lou Gramm. As Lou Gramm was chosen to be the band’s lead singer, the entire Foreigner clan came together with Al Greenwood, Dennis Elliot, and Ed Gagliardi. Their debut album called Foreigner, contained the hits that defined the band’s rock n roll status such as “Feels Like The First Time,” “Cold As Ice,” and “Long, Long Way From Home.” Foreigner’s staple rock ballad from their fifth album Agent Provocateur, “I Want To Know What Love Is,” was ranked first both in the United States and in the UK. “I Want To Know What Love Is” is by far one most enduring radio hits and still seems to make its way the big screen as it has been in countless movies. To learn more about this fascinating group, and their long musical history watch Rock Legends on Tuesday, December 4th at 8/7c on AXS TV!
