Your favorite countdown series, The Ten Revealed, is coming back to AXS TV with all-new episodes on September 15th! Each week, we celebrate the greatest and most iconic songs, bands, and musicians from the fascinating world of rock & roll. Katie Daryl joins our diverse cast of experts to count down through a catalog of topics ranging from the top British Invasion Songs and Live Albums to Summertime Classics and Colorful songs. This season we are welcoming back a few experts from the spring including Steven Adler, Kenny Aronoff, John 5, Sebastian Bach, Jesse & Eddie Money, Rikki Rockett, Dee Snider, Allee Willis, and more! Before the season premiere of The Top Ten Revealed on September 15th, get to know our new experts!
Starting this fall, Jake Clemons is joining our group of music experts and boy does he qualify! Clemons is singer-songwriter and musician who is best known for being the saxophonist for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. His uncle, Clarence Clemons, was a founding member of the band. When Clarence died in 2011, Jake stepped up to fill his late uncle’s shoes. Clemons has also had the privilege to perform with other famous artists including Eddie Vedder, Roger Waters, The Swell Season, and The Roots.
You may recognize the next expert from our show The Very VERY Best of the 70s, Bob Eubanks! Eubanks is an American disc jockey, television personality, and game show host, who is best known for hosting the famous game show The Newlywed Game. You could also say Bob dabbled in the music industry. In the early 60s, he co-owned a youth-oriented nightclub in Studio City, The Cinnamon Cinder, where he booked emerging acts including The Beach Boys, The Righteous Brothers, Ike, Tina Turner, and Stevie Wonder! Eubanks later managed famous artists including Dolly Parton, Barbara Mandrell, Marty Robbins, and Merle Haggard. His exclusive live-performance contract with Haggard promised more than 100 dates per year with the performer for almost a decade.
If you don’t know who Don Felder is by now you must be new to AXS TV! The legendary Don Felder is a musician and songwriter, who is best known for his work as the lead guitarist of Eagles for decades from 1974 until 2001. Felder also has a bit of a solo career where he had session appearances on albums by artists including Diana Ross, Barbra Streisand, and Andy Gibb. He also reportedly contributed guitar work to Stevie Nicks’ first two solo albums, Bella Donna and The Wild Heart!
In case you didn’t know, Rick Derringer does it all! On top of playing the guitar and singing, you could say Rick Derringer has dabbled in producing. Derringer boasts two Grammy® awards after producing Weird Al Yankovic’s “Eat It” and “I’m Fat”. You may also recognize Rick’s song while watching WWE! Both Hulk Hogan and Demolition have Derringer to thank for their entrance songs. Look out for this rocker’s music expertise on the new episodes this fall.
If you don’t know who Kelly Hansen is, then you must not be a big Foreigner fan. Hansen has been the lead singer for the rock band Foreigner since 2005 and he hasn’t looked back since. Kelly is known for combining amazing vocals with over-the-top performances that produces a level of energy and passion that always leave fans wanting more. You can look forward to some of his crazy stories about the music industry on this season’s new episodes.
We’re excited to welcome the American bassist, singer, record producer, entrepreneur, and television personality, Randy Jackson to The Top Ten Revealed expert family! Jackson began his career in the 1980s as a session musician playing bass guitar for an array of jazz, pop, rock, and R&B performers. Although his roots stem from the music industry, Randy is best known from his appearances as the longest-serving judge on American Idol. You may also recognize him as the executive producer for MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew. Jackson is bringing his entertainment business expertise to the all-new episodes this fall.
If you love KISS, you may recognize this friendly face! This guitarist and singer-songwriter, Bruce Kulick, is one hell of a guitarist and was a long-time member of KISS from 1984 to 1996. Be sure to look out for this rock star’s input on this fall’s all-new episodes!
Last but certainly not least, we welcome Alan Parsons to The Top Ten Revealed! Parsons is an English audio engineer, songwriter, musician, and record producer. Throughout his career, he has been involved with the production of several significant albums, including the Beatles’ Abbey Road and Let It Be, as well as Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon. We can’t wait to have his music expertise on this season of The Top Ten Revealed!.
