It’s GRAMMY® time in Los Angeles, and for this week’s back-to-back programs we have a special treat: a compilation of interviews from GRAMMY®-winning legends, followed by intimate stories from two nominees from different generations.
At 8 ET|5 PT, we revisit the exclusive interviews I’ve done with four past winners – Roger Daltrey, Linda Ronstadt, Melissa Etheridge and Merle Haggard – and share the best, most insightful, moments.
Our second hour, at 9 ET|7 PT, focuses on 2014 GRAMMY nominees Darius Rucker and Dionne Warwick. In the first half, I talk with Darius about pulling up stakes and becoming a country music sensation, plus his GRAMMY® nomination in country almost 20 years after his Best New Artist win. Then I sit down with legendary singer Dionne Warwick to discuss this past year that saw her 50-year career flourish with a new album and her 15th GRAMMY® nomination, but also the tragic loss of her cousin, Whitney Houston.
