Alan Jackson is the true definition of a “Small Town Southern Man”. He was born in Newnan, Georgia, and lived in a small home with his parents & four siblings that built around his grandfather’s old toolshed. He wrote his first song in 1983 and since then he has sold over 80 million records, with 66 titles on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. Has has received two Grammy Awards, 16 CMA Awards, 17 ACM Awards and has been nominated for multiple other awards. Most recently, he has been inducted into the coveted Country Music Hall of Fame. This feature-length documentary Alan Jackson: Small Town Southern Man, chronicles Jackson’s life from his upbringing in Georgia to his 2017 induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
