Yes Frontman Jon Anderson’s Biggest Fear | The Big Interview

Getting a #1 hit might be scarier than you would think

Jon Anderson is one of the most recognizable and legendary voices in progressive rock, but initially he had no desire to be a singer. His brother was in a local group and after one of their backing vocalists left, Anderson filled the position. A few years later in 1968, he met Chris Squire and together they formed Yes. Armed with just £500, they rented a space to rehearse, eventually landed their first gig, and went on to make music history. In this sneak peek, Anderson talks about his biggest fear when he was forming Yes, however it isn’t what you would ever expect from an aspiring musician. Find out what it was in the video above and then make sure you set your DVR for the full episode Wednesday, December 11th at 8/7c.
