Goodnight Burbank debuts this fall on HDNet!

Who are the people who bring us the news; the privileged few who decide what’s important and what we should be scared of? Welcome to Goodnight Burbank; a fictional Californian newscast that’s currently broadcasting from a garage because their studio burned down. Laura Silverman (Sarah Silverman Program), Dominic Monaghan (Lost) and writer/creator Hayden Black co-star in a comedy that takes place in real time during a fictional half-hour Californian newscast, mixing live “news” along with the behind the scenes moments after they’ve thrown to packages. Just imagine what news anchors say when their mic’s are off and you’re halfway there.

Joining the cast are John Barrowman (Torchwood), Juliet Landau (Buffy), Miracle Laurie (Dollhouse), Jim Rash (Community) and a host of famous faces from TV. The show began as a web series that’s been seen in the multi-millions and became the first ever half-hour sitcom created for the web. Called “Brilliant” by the BBC, “a wicked satire” by the LA Times and “one of my favorite shows” by the Wall St. Journal’s Walt Mossberg.

Here is preview clip but catch a full sneak on HDNet Thursday Night Sept. 29th and again Saturday Night Oct 1st, both at 1am ET.

Be sure to follow the circus on the Goodnight Burbank facebook page and the official Goodnite Burbank twitter feed too!
