AXS TV Continues Growth with Fred Lutz, Sue Hamilton

The live music network adds to leadership ranks with operational heavyweights

(Denver – March 19, 2013) Fred Lutz and Sue Hamilton have joined AXS TV’s leadership ranks as Executive Vice President, Operations and Administration and Executive Vice President, Distribution and Business Development, respectively, Mark Cuban, AXS TV Chairman and Founder announced today. The announcement comes on the heels of AXS TV now reaching 40 million homes nationwide, including nearly every SD DISH subscriber.

Lutz, with over two decades experience in the cable industry, will manage all aspects of AXS TV outside of programming and distribution. Most recently Regional Vice President at Charter Communications overseeing the company’s assets in California, Nevada, Washington State, Oregon and Texas, Lutz spent the last decade at Charter including overseeing the consolidation of operations in Tennessee following an internal restructure as well as a consolidation of the Southern California Inland Empire and Los Angeles markets. Previous to Charter, Lutz held various positions with TCI, which included remaining with the company thru its acquisition by AT&T Broadband as well as managing Resort Sports Network, Inc. operations in the western US.

Hamilton began her cable industry career nearly twenty years ago in programming at TCI, and continued in the role for its successor AT&T Broadband. She went on to serve as EVP of Programming for Charter Communications.. More recently, Sue has consulted to the industry as Principal of Hamilton Media LLC. Prior to working in cable, Hamilton was a partner at the law firm Kirkland & Ellis. Hamilton has been twice recognized by CableFAX as one of the “100 Most Influential People in Cable,” as well as named one of the “Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Cable” three years in a row. MultiChannel News has honored Hamilton as both a “Woman to Watch” and a “Wonder Woman.”

Lutz and Hamilton will report directly to Mark Cuban, who continues to oversee the network and make all programming decisions.
