AXS TV presents a line-up of fan-favorite rock concerts, music festival experiences and more this July headlined by the season two premiere of TRUNKFEST with Eddie Trunk and the new series A YEAR IN MUSIC both debuting July 7. Premieres and special events this month include:

SEASON 4 FINALE – ROCK & ROLL ROAD TRIP WITH SAMMY HAGAR – Sundays at 8pE
The Red Rocker, Sammy Hagar, wraps of the fourth season of ROCK & ROLL ROAD TRIP, with four more episodes as he talks and rocks with a roster of enduring icons.
July 7 – #409 “Tool’n Around in Flavortown” – This week chef and good friend, Guy Fieri, joins Sammy Hagar on his private jet for a jam at 20,000 feet. After catching up, they head to Jerome, Arizona to visit Maynard James Keenan of Tool’s one-of-a-kind winery to get a taste of his passion for food, wine and music.
July 14 – #410 “Guitar Legends 2” – Sammy Hagar sits down with Robby Krieger of The Doors and legendary bluesman Joe Bonamassa at the second annual Guitar Legends: America Salutes You event. Sammy and a host of legends take the stage for a good cause.
July 21 – #411 “Best Seat In The House” – Get ready for a jam session like no other as Sammy Hagar hosts a special drummer episode featuring Kenny Aronoff, Jason Bonham and Sheila E. See what happens when the guys in the back are put in front of the camera for an interview and witness a drum-off unlike anything before seen on the show.
July 28 – #412 “Welcome to the Road Trip” – Sammy Hagar visits Duff McKagan at his house in Southern California. The two reminisce about life in rock ‘n roll and play one of McKagan’s new songs.
SERIES PREMIERE – A YEAR IN MUSIC – Sundays at 9pE
AXS TV explores the legendary sounds that defined the ‘60s, ‘70s, and ‘80s in the all-new original series A Year In Music. Beloved former MTV VJs Downtown Julie Brown and Matt Pinfield, rock superstar Don Felder and film, television and stand-up comedy legend Tommy Chong are the pop culture icons and experts who host the series.
July 7 – #101 “1977” – The season begins with a look back at 1977 as host Downtown Julie Brown compares and contrasts the sunny hit singles coming out of Los Angeles’ blossoming music scene with the melancholy moodiness emanating from New York City, and explains how pop music evolved into what we have today.
July 14 – #102 “1966” – Host Matt Pinfield examines the year 1966, documenting the changing sound of pop music and the last glory days of classic crooners such as Frank Sinatra.
July 21 – #103 “1969” – Host Don Felder heads to the Grammy Museum at L.A. Live, where he breaks down the music of 1969’s Peace & Love Movement.

Music historian Eddie Trunk takes viewers on an immersive journey through some of the country’s biggest rock festivals and music events.
July 7 – #201 “High Tide Beach Party” – Eddie Trunk heads to Huntington Beach, California to explore Sammy Hagar’s High Tide Beach Party and Car Show. Special guests Sammy Hagar, Eddie Money, Kevin Cronin, REO Speedwagon, Vince Neil, Tre Cool, and The Circle join Eddie Trunk at the festival, giving you an inside look into this massive beach party.
July 14 – #202 “Monsters of Rock Cruise” – Join Eddie Trunk as he sets sail on the Monsters of Rock Cruise to navigate the high seas. Special guests Extreme and Tesla join Eddie Trunk this episode, bringing you an all-access pass aboard an all-out rock and roll cruise.
July 21 – #203 “Country Jam + Campout” – Eddie Trunk parties at Country Jam + Campout while checking out tricked out RV’s and trailers. Craig Campbell and Jon Pardi join Eddie Trunk in this unforgettable episode.
July 28 – #204 “Vail Snow Days” – Eddie Trunk hits the slopes in Vail, Colorado while exploring Vail Snow Days. Eddie sits down to chat with Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, and takes a ski lift with Devon Allman & Duane Betts, to discuss their careers and the lifestyle of the music festival circuit in this snowy episode.

AXS TV presents a historic live broadcast of Night 1 of the promotion’s highly anticipated G1 CLIMAX 29 Tournament in Dallas on July 6 at 6pE/3pP.
