NASHVILLE (March 14, 2013) – AXS TV and Big Machine Label Group will broadcast a special two-hour concert event on Saturday, April 6, from Las Vegas. Platinum-selling sibling trio The Band Perry will headline Outnumber Hunger Live! and will be joined by labelmates Brantley Gilbert, Justin Moore, Florida Georgia Line, Greg Bates and Cassadee Pope.
Big Machine Label Group, General Mills and Feeding America have teamed-up for a second consecutive year for Outnumber Hunger, a campaign that helps fight hunger in local communities. The Band Perry speaks about the importance of the Outnumber Hunger awareness campaign:

AXS TV will also support Outnumber Hunger via viewer awareness with the hashtag #axsOHLIVE on twitter and other social platforms.
“One in six Americans struggles with hunger,” said Kimberly Perry of The Band Perry told AXSLive. “These people live everywhere. They could be our neighbors. They are fans at our shows. They are kids in our schools. Hunger is a serious issue and we are proud to raise awareness with our Big Machine labelmates through the Outnumber Hunger Live! concert and TV special.”
The Band Perry reveals which Outnumber Hunger artist they are most looking forward to:
“Music artists and fans have always rallied around communities in need. AXS TV is proud to be part of that tradition by bringing our viewers great music through Outnumber Hunger with The Band Perry, Brantley, Cassadee, Justin, Greg and Florida Georgia Line while also raising much needed awareness to fight hunger in our hometowns,” said AXS TV Chairman and Founder, Mark Cuban.
“This is the second year that Big Machine has partnered with General Mills and Feeding America for Outnumber Hunger. We are both excited and proud that this partnership has not only secured millions of meals for the hungry, but that we now have an opportunity to take it to the next level with AXS TV ,” said Big Machine Label Group President and CEO Scott Borchetta. “What Mark and AXS TV have created is an exceptionally unique outlet for artists to engage with fans through live televised performances. We look forward to launching Outnumber Hunger Live! with the network on April 6!”
