Los Angeles – December 18, 2019 – AXS TV’s popular original series The Very VERY Best Of The 70s is back with eight all-new episodes, as executive producer Katie Daryl guides a rotating panel of iconic guests as they share their thoughts on the decade’s definitive pop culture moments. Season two kicks off on Thursday, January 23 at 8pE/5pP and includes new guests Christopher Knight (The Brady Bunch), Dawn Wells (Gilligan’s Island), Nicole Sullivan (MadTV) and Perez Hilton.
The Very VERY Best Of The 70s is an unapologetic celebration of everything that made the era so special—from movies, music, and TV, to celebrities, toys, and so much more. Season two cruises into the New Year on January 23, taking viewers on a raucous road trip through the hottest, coolest, and funkiest “Famous Rides” with special guests Catherine Bach, John Schneider, Christopher Knight, Perez Hilton, Anson Williams and Marion Ross. In this episode, Dukes of Hazzard alums Bach and Schneider reflect on the series’ beloved “The General Lee” Dodge Charger and similarly, Happy Days’ Ross and Williams share memories about Fonzie’s famous Triumph motorcycle.
The upcoming season also includes a sidesplitting exploration of the ‘70s best “Comedy Movies,” with Kim Fields, Marilu Henner, and Jaleel White on January 30; then, on February 6, veteran entertainers Morgan Fairchild, Michael Winslow, Anson Williams and more deploy a cargo full of powerful ‘70s “War Movies”; followed by a salute to the era’s scene-stealing “Sketch Stars” with Barry Williams, George Wallace, Nicole Sullivan, and more, on February 13.
The season continues on February 20 with an explosive look at the “Disaster Movies” that crushed the box office, with Morgan Fairchild, Michael Winslow, Anson Williams, and Perez Hilton; followed by beloved “Late ‘70s Sitcoms” with Barry Williams, Marion Ross, Marilu Henner, and Catherine Bach on February 27; a heartwarming look at the era’s most wholesome and hilarious “Family Movies,” with Dee Wallace, Dawn Wells, Marion Ross, and Barry Williams on March 5; and a hair-raising tribute to the decade’s “Mustache Men,” with Mindy Cohn, Kim Fields, John Schneider, and more on March 12.
