HDNet will air a special tribute to Amy Winehouse this Sunday, July 31st at 8:00 p.m. ET. To honor the singer with the distinctive and sultry voice that captured music lovers around the world, HDNet Concerts will air Amy Winehouse – I Told You I Was Trouble: Live From London.
Live from Shepherd’s Bush Empire, this 2007 concert features songs from Winehouse’s multiple Grammy Award winning album, “Back to Black” and her 2003 debut album, “Frank.” From the hit song “Rehab” to fan favorites “Valerie” and “Back to Black” as well as a cover of “Me and Mr. Jones,” I Told You I Was Trouble is one of Amy Winehouse’s most memorable performances.
The network will also feature a special look at the young artist and a life taken too soon when Rob Shuter of HDNet’s Naughty But Nice with Rob Shuter and New York’s Z-100 DJ Elvis Duran share their memories and stories of Ms. Winehouse. This special edition of Naughty But Nice with Rob Shuter airs Saturday, July 30 at 1:00 p.m. ET.
HDNet has released “Just Friends” in advance of their special tribute to the gifted and soulful style of Amy Winehouse airing Sunday, July 31st at 8:00 p.m. ET. The network will also air encore presentations at 11:35 p.m. ET and 1:55 a.m. ET.
