JO NATTAWUT AND ANTONINA SHEVCHENKO RETAIN CHAMPIONSHIP BELTS, WHILE REGIAN EERSEL WINS THE SUPER MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE ON ‘AXS TV FIGHTS: LION FIGHT 33’

Los Angeles – Nov. 18, 2016 – Lion Fight Muay Thai’s last event of 2016 featured a historic three title fights on the main card, headlined by Super Welterweight champion Jo Nattawut (58-6-2) and Lightweight champion Antonina Shevchenko (38-1) who both defended their titles with dominant unanimous decision victories. In the third title fight, Regian Eersel (40-4) landed a flying knee to knock out Jake Purdy (27-7-1) and claim the Lion Fight Super Middleweight Title.

Lightweight Title Fight – Antonina Shevchenko (38-1) defeated Ilona Wijmans (45-6-1) via unanimous decision (50-45, 50-45, 50-45).

Super Middleweight Title Fight – Regian Eersel (44-4) defeated Jake Purdy (27-7-1) by TKO at 2:41 in round two.

Cruiserweight Fight – Chip Moraza-Pollard (2-0) defeated Brett Hlavacek (17-4) via split decision (47-48, 50-47, 48-47).

Lightweight Fight – Yeison Berdugo (2-2) defeated Anthony Craparo (0-1) via unanimous decision (50-45, 48-47, 48-47).

Middleweight Fight – P.J. Sweda (2-1) defeated Andres Jeudi (3-1) via split decision (47-48, 48-47, 48-47).
