7 Reasons to Watch RFA vs. Legacy TONIGHT on AXS TV!

The AXS TV Superfight is finally upon us! Here are some reasons why you MUST tune in for RFA vs. Legacy TONIGHT 10 ET | 7 PT on AXS TV!

7) The AXS TV Fights Withdrawals End Tonight!

Friday’s have been fight-less the last three weeks as AXS TV has brought you coverage of Coachella, Stagecoach, and Jazz Fest. That changes tonight as fights return in a BIG way! As usual Michael Schiavello and UFC Hall of Famer Pat Miletich will be calling the action!

6) Inside MMA On-Location!

Along with fights, Inside MMA has also been MIA the last three weeks on AXS TV. Not anymore though, as Bas Rutten and Kenny Rice will both be in Tunica for a complete wrap-up of the night’s action. They’ll also bring you the latest news and highlights and Ron Kruck has an interview with Rashad Evans and members of this season’s The Ultimate Fighter.

5) “Babysitter to the Stars” Burt Watson

How do you make a big-time event even bigger? Call in Burt Watson! Whether it’s hyping the fights or just looking after the fighters, Watson is one of the best guys in the business. Watch for Watson during the fights and on Inside MMA afterwards!

4) Promotion vs. Promotion

The biggest promotion vs. promotion event to happen in MMA in a long time features FOUR head-to-head match ups. Both RFA and Legacy have earned a reputation for being pipelines to the UFC and TONIGHT they will battle to see who has the edge, heck even the ring announcers are competing against each other! The broadcast opens with three RFA vs. Legacy match ups: Bojan Velickovic vs. Charles Byrd, Kevin Gray vs. Brian Hall, and Adam Townsend vs. Yuri Villefort. The night ends with RFA Champ Alexandre Pantoja vs. Legacy Champ Damacio Page!

3) A Legacy Lightweight Champ Will Be Crowned

With five wins in a row and two straight victories since dropping weight classes, Dave Burrow and Mike Bronzoulis will meet to decide Legacy’s new Lightweight Champion. The matchup features two opposite fighters. Burrow is only 23 and has 11 submission wins to his record, including an armbar win over UFC vet Anthony Njokuani his last time out. At 36, Bronzoulis is hoping add a reign as Legacy Champion to his already accomplished resume, he is a talented striker with 11 of his 17 wins coming by TKO/KO.

2) Luke Sanders Puts His Title On the Line Against Terrion Ware

RFA Bantamweight Luke Sanders is still with the RFA. At 9-0 it’s surprising that the UFC hasn’t come calling yet… The talented wrestler will try to defend his title against technical striker Terrion Ware in the night’s co-main event. A UFC call up seems pretty likely for the winner of this bout.

1) Champ vs. Champ for the AXS TV Superfight Title

If you think flyweights are boring, you haven’t seen RFA Champ Alexandre Pantoja or Legacy Champ Damacio Page in action… Both fighters won their respective belts with highlight reel finishes and both fighters will meet in the night’s main event. Pantoja trains with Nova Uniao, the same gym that produced UFC #1 P4P Jose Aldo, and boasts 11 finishes in his 15 wins (he’s also never been finished). Page is a UFC vet training out of Jackson’s MMA and has won 4 out of 5 since dropping to flyweight, those 4 wins have all been finishes. This fight is MUST-SEE TV!
