Who Will Be Crowned The New Welterweight & Lightweight Champions?
In the main event our #1 ranked Welterweight and CES MMA champion, Chris “The Action Man” Curtis (17-5) is back after over a year away. He’ll make his second title defense against U.S. Army Major Jason “Righteous” Norwood (18-4). Curtis’ boxing is impressive and we’ve seen it in action when he won and defended the CES Welterweight title. Norwood is no rookie in the ring either & has been fighting as a pro for nine years. This is sure to be a heck of a battle for the belt!
The co-main event features another title fight as Nate “The Snake” Andrews (12-1) finally gets his chance at the Lightweight Strap now that his pal Luis Felix has retired. He’ll take on RFA-vet Chris “Taco” Padilla (9-3) in an East Coast vs. West Coast Matchup. Andrews is riding a six-fight win streak and has finished his opponent in all 12 of his wins. The 22 year-old Padilla has finishes in seven of his nine wins, all of them in the very first round! This one is scheduled for five Rounds, but it likely will be over early.
