CES MMA Heads to Philadelphia | August 17th on AXS TV

The Welterweight Title is on the Line at CES MMA 52!

Philadelphia’s Jeremiah Wells (5-1-1) battles US Army Major Jason Norwood (18-5) for the newly vacant CES Welterweight title in the main event of the evening. Wells has won back-to-back fights in back-to-back events with CES, destroying Gary Balletto Jr and Jon Manley at CES 49 and CES 50. This will be back-to-back CES title fights for Jason Norwood. Norwood loves the clinch and takedowns, so the takedown defense of Wells will be tested in this one. This fight could end at any moment, so keep those eyes glued to the screen.

The co-main event features a matchup between 2 UFC vets, Nah-Shon Burrell (15-10, 1 NC) and Ron Stallings (14-8, 1 NC). This will be Burrell’s 2nd CES appearance after he won a split decision win against Chris Curtis in a non-title fight at CES 34. This will be Stallings first fight since August 2016. With 18 combined KO victories between these two, we’re in for an exciting fight!
