HDNet Fight of the Week: Pete Spratt and Antonio Flores at Legacy Fighting 7

Back in July, the Texas-based Legacy Fighting Championships organization made its HDNet debut.

The nationally televised event featured a handful of notables, but few fights made an impact like welterweights Pete Spratt and Antonio Flores did.

In this week’s installment of HDNet Fights Video Vault, we present the full fight video.

Each week HDNet and MMAjunkie.com release a new and exclusive fight from the ever-growing HDNet Fights video library. Stunning knockouts, slick submissions, shocking finishes and legendary brawls are the norm for this weekly feature.

Spratt vs. Flores is no exception.

Spratt (22-20 at the time) looked to rebound from a close MFC 30 loss to fellow UFC vet Marcus Davis. Fighting for the fourth straight time on HDNet, Spratt had taken on big names with mixed results. At 40 years old, the 12-year pro had an opportunity to defeat a fellow Texan in Flores (5-3), a fellow striker who was looking for his fourth win in five fights.

Would Spratt pick up his second victory since turning 40, or would Flores notch the biggest win of his six-year pro career?

Check out the embedded clip for the answer.

Additionally, be sure to catch HDNet’s live presentation of Legacy Fighting Championships 8 this Friday at 10 p.m. ET (7 p.m. PT). Featured bouts include Spratt vs. Jorge Patino and Eric Schambari vs. Andre Craig.
