Next weekend Russian heavyweight fighter Sergei Kharitonov meets Andrei Arlovski in the opening round of the highly anticipated Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix.

Kharitonov, a former PRIDE fighter, is an 11-year veteran of mixed martial arts, but recently, he’s also dabbled in K-1 kickboxing.

In our latest installment of HDNet Fights Video Vault, we check out his December “super fight” with Indian fighter Singh Jaideep at the K-1 World Grand Prix 2010 Final.

Each week HDNet and MMAjunkie.com release a new and exclusive fight from the ever-growing HDNet Fights video library. Stunning knockouts, slick submissions, shocking finishes and legendary brawls are the norm for this weekly feature. Kharitonov vs. Jaideep is no exception.

Kharitonov (1-1) fought for the third time in a year under the K-1 banner and looked to build off a knockout victory over Takumi Sato. Meanwhile, Jaideep (35-13-1), the 2009 K-1 World Grand Prix Asia champion, looked for his seventh win in nine bouts.

Would Kharitonov overcome his K-1 inexperience, or would the veteran Jaideep shut down the MMA notable?
