Madrid Chokes Out Harris in Just 51 Seconds! | LFA 72 Highlights & Results

We saw the good, the questionable, and the ugly at the Comerica Theatre in Phoenix, AZ. The night came to a halt after the second fight of the night, when Bruno Souza was stretchered off after taking a blow to the back of the head from Mike Hamel. It was a controversial disqualification that left even Big John McCarthy wondering whether the judges made the right call.

In the main event, Daniel Madrid (17-6) made quick work of Chris Harris (11-4) with a slick uppercut and rear-naked choke to wrap up our night in Phoenix! The man who said he wanted to stay in the LFA in February may be gone sooner than he thinks. A vacant middleweight title shot and UFC contract could be on the table in the near future! Anthony Birchack (14-6) made a triumphant return to AXS TV getting Raphael Montini (6-3) to tapout in just over a minute into Round 1.
