LFA 73 landed in Dallas, TX, with the promotion hosting its 9th fight at the infamous Bomb Factory! We had fireworks in the main event with Austin Lingo (7-0) barreling towards the UFC after landing his third knock-out blow in under 30-seconds seconds. It was yet another exciting matchup in the very competitive featherweight division and Lingo made a convincing case for a title shot and possibly a UFC contract with yet another win over a tough opponent in Solo Hatley Jr (6-1).
In the co-main event, Hailey Cowen (4-1) returned once again to take on Bellator veteran Jessica Middleton (5-6) in her toughest matchup to date. Cowen overpowered Middleton throughout all three rounds, getting her much-deserved fourth win in a row. With two fights left on her contract, how soon will we see her fight for an LFA title? Victor Altamirano made his 8th appearance in the LFA, keeping his undefeated record with a dominant performance over Joao Camilo.
We also saw Elijah Johns (4-1), brother of former LFA Bantamweight Champion Miles Johns, make his LFA main card debut in the first fight of the night and he did not disappoint. His opponent Aaron Webb (3-4) was hoping to redeem himself after his previous performance against guess who, Austin Lingo when he was also knocked out in just 25 seconds. But Johns made the most of his opportunity and knocked out Webb in 26 seconds, improving his record to 4-1.
