Oregon State shoots down TCU 101 to 81 and Advances to Final Four of the CBI presented by Zebra Pen.

The Oregon State offense came ready to play early on and never let up as they defeated TCU 101 to 81 in Corvallis. The Beavers continued their late season success winning their sixth game out of seven and advancing to the Final Four of the CBI presented by Zebra Pen. After defeating top seeded Washington and Washington State in the Pac 12 tournament, they won their 2nd straight game of the CBI and will face Washington State in the semi-finals.

Oregon State began the game with a 21 to 8 run and kept a double digit lead throughout the game. They finished the first half shooting 68% compared to the horned frog’s 31%. In the second half, the Beavers kept the pressure up leading by almost 20 points the entire second half. TCU played better in the second half but they weren’t able to make up any ground on the Beavers, who looked red hot.

The Beavers offense was well balanced. Jared Cunningham led the team with 27 points, while Angus Brandt and Devon Collier added 22 and 19 points respectively. Garlon Green led TCU with 21 points off the bench.

Oregon State will host Washington State Wednesday in a rematch from the Pac 12 tournament. Washington State won 2 out of 3 matchups earlier in the season so the Beavers will be looking to even the season series and advance to the Best-of-3 Finals against the winner of Pitt and Butler.
