Having served as a springboard to the UFC for years, Legacy Fighting Championship showcased plenty of young talent Friday on AXS TV.
In the main event, 26 year-old Alex Morono extended his win streak to four with an incredible knockout. The Houston prospect knocked out The Ultimate Fighter 21 member Valdir Araujo in the third round to improve to 11-3. The co-main event featured another member from The Ultimate Fighter 21. Carrington Banks, also a member of the Blackzilians, showcased his world class wrestling in a unanimous decision victory over Legacy veteran Justin Reiswerg. Finally, 19 year-old Sage Northcutt treated viewers and attendees to another fantastic performance dominating veteran Rocky Long. Northcutt was able to submit the 50+ fight veteran in round 2 to improve to 5-0 and it was announced during the broadcast that he would be moving on to the UFC.
