Legacy 59 Saw Trevin Giles Remain Undefeated in his Hometown of Houston, Texas | Results and Highlights

We’ve got a candidate for Fight of the Year after last night’s fights in Houston!

In the main event, Trevin Giles and Isaac “Hurricane Ike” Villanueva battled in a brutal back-and-forth fight, trading huge blows. Villanueva is the first fighter to take Giles into the third round, but Giles wasn’t going to let it end without a finish. The co-main event resulted in Justin “The Wolverine” Reiswerg winning in an upset over Jason “Slim Reaper” Langellier. Reiswerg accomplished a rare armbar and triangle choke, putting Langellier to sleep in round 2.

The quickest finish of the night came only 38 seconds into round one when Domingo “Anointed” Pilarte defeated Chris Pham after a couple HUGE blows and a final punch that knocked Pham out.

Here are the highlights:

  • Trevin Giles def. Ike Villanueva via Submission (Head & Arm Choke) 1:43 Round 3
  • Justin Reiswerg def. Jason Langellier via Submission (Armbar & Triangle Choke) 3:21 Round 2
  • Domingo Pilarte def. Chris Pham via KO (Punch) 0:38 Round 1
  • Adrian Yanez def. Colin Wright via Submission (Armbar) 2:44 Round 3
  • Mike Trinh def. Randy McCullough via Split Decision (27-30, 29-28, 30-27)
