LFA Heads to North Carolina For Their First Time Ever This Friday!
This Friday night we head back to Charolette, NC to determine the first ever LFA Lightweight champion at LFA 17. Thiago Moises (9-1), who is the former RFA Lightweight champion, is set to take on Robert Watley (5-0) who is making his LFA debut. After losing his pro debut, Watley has gone on a winning streak and has not lost a fight since. Moises successfully defended his RFA title twice after winning it back at RFA 35 in February of 2016. Neither of these men have lost a fight in the last two years, but on Friday night that will change for one of them!
After his win at LFA 8, Keith “The Rockstar” Richardson (16-8) returns to the cage to take on LFA newcomer, Tony Gravely (9-4). Richardson is stepping into this fight on 2 days notice after Dylan Cala had to pull out of the fight due to an injury. Gravely fought a total of eight times in 2016, going 6-2, and this fight will be his 14th fight within the last 21 months. Richardson is coming into this fight on a two-fight win streak and has not been defeated yet in 2017. Watch for these Bantamweights to put on a brutal show in the co-main event on Friday!
