The Judges Were Kept Busy at LFA 5 With Five out of the Seven Fights Going to Decision!
The main event featured a Lightweight showdown between Adam “Primetime” Townsend and Marcus “Bad Intentions” Edwards. Both men were shot out of a cannon in the first round throwing strike after strike in what turned out to be a very explosive round. After the first round, Townsend got into a groove and dominated Edwards on the ground for the remainder of the fight. With only seven seconds left in the bout, the ref called a stop to the action awarding Townsend the TKO victory.
In the co-main event, Jamall “Pretty Boy” Emmers took on Colorado native, Cory Sandhagen. This fight went to distance with neither man doing much damage, but Emmers out shined Sandhagen in the cage and walked away with the decision from the judges.
