Lion Fight Promotions Puts the Super Middleweight Championship on the Line | September 29th on AXS TV

We’re Headed Back to Foxwoods For Lion Fight’s 5th Event of 2017!

We’ve got ourselves a big rematch in the main event of the evening this Friday. Super Middleweight champion, Regian “The Immortal” Eersel (46-4) is set to defend his title agaisnt Matous Kohout (38-9). The Czech, Kohout, defeated Eersel back in March of 2016 by way of decision, and since that fight, Eersel has won 9 in a row with all of them coming by way of a finish. This fight will be Eersel’s second title defense & third appearance inside the Lion Fight ring, while Kohout is making his Lion Fight & U.S. debut in this brutal match up. Will Kohout shut down Eersel once again, or will Eersel successfully defend his title for the second time?

The co-main event features Lion Fight newcomers Elijah Clarke (6-1) and Juan Jackson (9-1) in an East Coast vs West Coast showdown. Clarke is originally from St. Lucia and trains out of Renzo Gracie Academy in New York. Jackson is a former Army Sergeant and will be coming all the way from Tacoma, Washington for this fight. Watch for these two to put on a war this Friday!
