After last season’s stunning season finale, months of waiting, and thoroughly planning our premiere party we were FINALLY blessed with a brand new season of The X Factor UK on AXS TV. And let’s just say, the first weekend DID NOT disappoint. We had boy bands, saw the return of Emily Middlemas, met a Finnish singer with the voice of a princess, and of course… there was Honey G.
Yes Lad kicked off the show with a *PERFECT* rendition of Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop The Feeling”, which obviously earned them four yeses.
Samantha Lavery left literally everyone in tears, after pouring her heart into “Explosions” by Ellie Goulding.
Simon met his “incredibly handsome” doppelganger, Eddie Lee, who really kicked up the auditions with a little bit of Elvis.
Kittipos got to duet with Nicole, which is basically ultimate #AuditionGoals.
And Honey G? Well, Honey G basically rapped and danced and shut the entire audition room DOWN after perfectly spitting Missy Elliot’s “Work It”. And yes, she even nailed the backwards part.
