The X Factor UK: Week 2 Recap

From “Crazy in Love” to just plain Crazy, The X Factor had EVERYTHING last week!

Another amazing week of The X Factor auditions is officially in the books! Last weekend we saw Scarlett Lee come back for redemption, an amazing singer/guitarist/rapper completely change Simon Cowell’s mind, and of course, Ivo and his crew of amazing interpretive dancers. Here’s a look back at some of our favorite auditions from the weekend before we dive into more auditions this Sunday & Monday at 8/7c on AXS TV!

Ivo brought an original, his own back-up dancers, and a shirt that MAY have been stolen from Simon Cowell’s wardrobe for his audition. It was one of the most bizarre to ever grace The X Factor stage, but Robbie, Ayda, and Simon could only say YES.

When Felix walked on stage and immediately began sharing his incredible journey, we were already blown away. When he started singing, we were completely stunned and obviously, so were all of the judges.

Maria traveled from the Philippines to perform for our judges and to follow her dream. She took a risk by performing Prince’s classic “Purple Rain,” but we all think that she completely nailed it.

Athena seemed to have caused a bit of drama between Robbie Williams & Ayda Williams when she hit the stage. BUT they couldn’t help but both give her a yes after her very dramatic rendition of “Crazy In Love.”

Simon wasn’t sure about giving Scarlett another chance. But once she started singing this beautiful song from The Greatest Showman, she quickly changed his mind and earned the yes that she was fighting for… plus around 5,000 extras from the audience.

Simon Cowell usually hates when contestants bring their guitars to their audition. However, kitchen porter, Tommy, was determined to change that. He stepped on the stage to perform an original song and amazed the entire Wembley Arena.
