And The Winner Is… – The X Factor UK Week 16 Recap
Surprise duets, superstar guests, and the crowning of our champion
After months of searching, thousands of auditions, and countless emotional moments it was finally time for the night we’ve all been waiting for… The X Factor UK 2015 grand finale! We started the weekend with our brilliant final three: Ché Chesterman, Louisa Johnson, and Reggie N Bollie. Ché crooned an Amy Winehouse classic and got to duet with the legendary Rod Stewart, Reggie N Bollie “spiced up” the finale and took the stage with Fuse ODG and Craig Daved, and Louisa gave another angelic performance and paired up for an emotional duet with her mentor, Rita. At the end of the evening it was revealed that unfortunately Ché Chesterman would be headed home, leaving Louisa and Reggie N Bollie to fight it out in the final episode.
The next night was jam packed with excitement. First, were guest performances by Coldplay, the amazing Adele, and of course the monumental last performance by One Direction before their well-deserved break. Then, our final two gave it their all with a performance of their “song of the series” and their own rendition of what would become the winner’s single, “Forever Young”. Finally, it was time for the biggest result of them all… the winner of The X Factor UK 2015 is Louisa Johnson! Check out the entire incredible evening in videos below.
