We have to admit, we were a bit nervous when we were learned that the song choices for the week were all going to be up to Louis, BUT after Sunday night’s episode we were left stunned. Not only by how spot on Louis’ Loves were, but by how each and every one of the contestants gave TWO amazing performances. We saw Emily show her rock star side, Saara embraced her true musical calling, 5 After Midnight tackled the megahit, “Uptown Funk”, Matt chose one of the hardest songs EVER, and Honey G did one of the coolest mannequin challenges we’ve seen. After all the action, on Monday night, we were on the edge of our seat waiting for the news of who would be headed to the semi-finals. See who made it and who got the cut on this week’s X Factor UK Recap with Ché Chesterman!
5 After Midnight gave two performances that were so good, Sharon Osbourne made them promise they would give her a platinum record when their album is released when they win… talk about MAJOR compliments.
Emily took a risk… that TOTALLY paid off. She channeled her darker side with a killer rendition of “Human” by Rag’n’Bone Man that we KNOW is going to be a hit.
Matt, once again, was totally, 100% flawless after taking on Sia’s “Alive”.
Saara Aalto truly looked like a Finnish Queen on her thrown and gave one of the most vocally stunning performances we have EVER seen on The X Factor.
Even after getting the entire Wembley to participate in the mannequin challenge, Honey G was ultimately sent home.
Christmas comes early to The X Factor next SUNDAY and MONDAY 8/7c ONLY on AXS TV!
