Our Fab Four Battled It Out In The Semi-Finals – The X Factor UK Week 15 Recap
We’re just one short week away from crowning our champion, here’s how we narrowed in on our final three.
This week our contestants were faced with one task: sing a song that would get them to the finals. Sounds easy, right? Wrong. Tears were shed, song choice was absolutely critical, and with competition this fierce nerves were at an all time high. Reggie N Bollie kicked off the show, but Simon called it their “worst performance of the competition.” Thankfully, they redeemed themselves with an insanely energetic “I Like to Move It”/”I Gotta Feeling” mashup. Then, after feeling ill all week, Lauren Murray changed her song last minute and panicked under the pressure of the semi-finals, but was still able to give a stunning vocal. The judges literally couldn’t think of another word besides “incredible” to describe both of Louisa Johnson’s mind-blowing performances and they were sure she would make it to the finals. And finally, Ché Chesterman gave us all the feels with two pitch perfect ballads.
Just 24 hours later, it was time to see who would be moving on to the big finale and who would be sent home. Reggie N Bollie and Louisa both secured their spot, leaving Ché and Lauren to fight for theirs. The judges couldn’t make up their mind and Simon thought it was only fair to send the decision to the public vote, where Lauren was eliminated. Check out the week in videos below and catch the next round of lives Sunday and Monday 8/7c on AXS TV!
