The X Factor UK Six Chair Challenge: Week 5 Recap
We call this the most brutal part of the competition for a reason!
The most intense game of musical chairs, the “Hunger Games” of competition shows, the most gut-wrenching part of The X Factor… whatever you want to call it, The Six Chair Challenge did not disappoint! We saw contestants LITERALLY stealing chairs, surprise groups being formed, sing-offs for survival, and one of the most shocking & dramatic exists in X Factor history. Look back on this weekend’s insanity, then buckle up & set your DVR, because the Six Chair Challenge continues this SUNDAY at 8/7c!
After his unbelievably brilliant rendition of Everybody Hurts by R.E.M, Simon Cowell said Brendan Murray is the best act on The X Factor this year. In fact, he was so fantastic Louis gave him the Golden X!
It took two years, but Scarlett finally got what she has worked so hard for… a spot at Judges’ Houses! She may have “totally screwed up” last year, but with a performance like this, it was easy to give her a second chance.
Maria and Georgia both thought they had their seat, but we’ve if there’s one thing we all know, NOBODY is safe in the Six Chair Challenge! The two girls had to battle it out to earn their spot at Judges’ Houses.
Tommy Ludford stunned everybody TWICE this episode. First, with his killer original song, and then again when he took a tumble off the back of the stage.
Burgandy made it clear that she wasn’t leaving The X Factor stage without a chair. After both her and Panda got their seats stolen, Robbie had an idea. He put them together and it worked perfectly!
The competition continues with PART TWO of the Six Chair Challenge and the beginning of Judges’ Houses this SUNDAY & MONDAY at 8/7c!
