On January 11th, 1967, the Jimi Hendrix Experience stepped into De Lane Lea studios in London to begin recording the legendary track, "Purple Haze". The song initially came to Hendrix in a dream, which led to ten pages of lyrics. Eventually, after lots of experimentation with riffs, the iconic song was born.
