AXS TV is proud to announce that we are the national television broadcaster of the 2020 SummerStage Jubilee livestream benefit concert! You can watch the all-star lineup September 17 at 8/7c and an encore at 11/10c. SummerStage Jubilee will also be available to AXS TV’s viewers as an on demand offering for up to 30 days following the original broadcast.
SummerStage Jubilee blends immersive cinematics with enduring songs and personal stories, creating a one-of-a-kind concert event that puts the spotlight on intimate ‘home performances’ from a diverse lineup of artists and entertainers. Highlights include appearances by GRAMMY-winning rock superstar Sting, beloved TV and radio personality Ryan Seacrest, multi-talented music icon Paul Shaffer, comedy legend Lewis Black, celebrated singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright, TONY-winning Hamilton standout Leslie Odom Jr., chart-topping songstress Norah Jones, tennis trailblazer Billie Jean King, genre-defying musician and author Rosanne Cash, fan-favorite Phish frontman Trey Anastasio, GRAMMY-winning R&B upstart H.E.R., and more.
The 90-minute special event aims to raise funds and awareness for New York’s City Parks Foundation. All proceeds from the SummerStage Jubilee will go towards enriching the organization’s programs, which includes free tennis and golf instruction and environmental science-based lessons; as well as providing tools and supplies for volunteers to beautify local parks; funding training, coaching, and microgrants; and maintaining the City Parks Foundation’s new SummerStage Anywhere virtual arts festival, among others. Viewers can get involved by donating to the City Parks Foundation at various points throughout the night, and by visiting the City Parks Foundation website.
