Collectors are invited to bring their item on the show and tell their story of how they acquired it - whether it was thrown into a crowd at a concert, is a family heirloom, or a personalized gift from the musician themselves.

Afterwards, Rock My Collection’s Host Ahmet Zappa and expert appraiser Stephen Braitman will evaluate, discuss the importance (or lack thereof) and appraise the collectible for the owner. The owner then has the option to put their item up for auction. Read more

Ahmet Zappa

Ahmet Zappa is an entrepreneur, NY Times Best Selling Author, film and television screenwriter, director, producer, musician, inventor and the radio talk show host of Rocktails on SiriusXM. Zappa’s authored over 20 critically acclaimed and best selling books. As a composer he’s written and produced music for animation, recorded tracks for motion picture soundtracks, scored the music for commercials, web series, reality programs, specials and other television projects. Ahmet is also the son of the late Frank Zappa and serves as co-Trustee of his estate. Stephen Braitman

Stephen Braitman is an Accredited Senior Appraiser through the American Society of Appraisers with a specialty in music recording archives and memorabilia collections. In addition to his appraisal assignments, Stephen continues to be a major collector of records and music paraphernalia, owning tens of thousands of LPs, CDs, 45s, photographs, magazines, and other memorabilia. His collection has been used as an archival resource for many organizations, including Rhino Records, Sundazed, Ace Records (U.K.), and MCA Records.
